Fractal Tides

Design Drift is a collection of ideas, observation, and inspiration reflecting a global perspective on culture, design, and everyday life. It’s about using one’s creative mind not only for a career, but also as a mechanism of positive influence on an interconnected world. It’s about retaining creative energy, living in balance, reflecting compassion in our actions, and being part of a powerful movement of design thinking for the greater good.

Deja

My name is Deja and I’m a 26 year old freelance designer. I have a versatile background of experience ranging from million dollar projects with large corporations to volunteer projects with small non-profits. I quit my agency job in order to pursue meaningful design for social change and spend more time working/volunteering with non-profits. I am passionate about making a positive contribution to the world through innovative design solutions.

In addition to design, I have an education background in Anthropology and International Studies.
I’m an avid traveller, photographer, volunteer, and outdoor adventurer. I have visited 18 countries thus far, with many more to come. I love design, yoga, chocolate, books, sewing, dancing, violin, pomegranates, massages and friends.
